Aundha Nagnath, the small town and taluka place of Basmath subdivision from Hingoli district, Maharashtra, India is located in the Marathwada region. Though it’s a small town but major pilgrimage center due to the revered Aundha Naganath temple of Lord Shiva – Nageshwaram - one of the twelve jyotirlinga. This Jyotirliga temple is one of the five Jyotirlinga located in Maharashtra which is believed to be constructed by Dharmaraj Yudhisthir – Eldest Pandava during the Mahabharat time.

Along with the Aundha Nagnath temple, Siddheshwar Dam is very popular tourist place near town. Thousands of pilgrims reach this temple on shivratri and Vijayadashmi.

You can visit Aundha throughout the year but summer is quite hot so except summer every month is best time to visit here

On every Thursday the town celebrate the weekly witnesses for the villagers, many people come from nearby places for shopping here as weekly market arranged.

Nearest railway station is at Hingoli at 25 and Parbhani at 50 km from town.
