It is just 60 km away from Bhubneswar – Capital of Odisha, 81 km from Cuttack. Bhubneswar Biju Pattnaik International Airport is the nearest airport at around 60 km. Puri railway station is on the east coast railway thus connected with all major cities of India via rail network. Also devotee and tourist can reach Puri via road, public and private bus are available from Bhubneshwar, Cuttak, Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam etc. at decent frequency.
