Overview of Mini Amarnath Dham, Near Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Amarnath is highly sacred pilgrimage centre of Hinduism and specifically to devotee of Lord Shiva, naturally created Shivlonga of ice in Himalayas. To visit here is very difficult thus for the devotee who cannot visit Amaranath in Himalayas can reach Amarnath dham which situated just at 24 km from Gandhinagr on Gandhinagar – Mahudi road, at Amrapur village also known as Mini Amarnath. Amarnath dham can gives us memory of Amarnath temple of Jammu-Kashmir. Amarnath Dham is surrounded by huge area with natural surroundings, trees and ravine of River Sabarmati. A huge Shivling of Lord Shiva is made of ice is under a constructed Cave type structure. There are also 12 Shivlinga around main shivlinga named by 12 Jyotirlinga placed. There is few rides and playground for children so they can enjoy and you can bring home food or it will available at place, thus famous as once day picnic spot as well. Amarnath Dham is constructed in 2003 on small hill around 100 stairs to climb and Shivlinga made of ice placed in Cave temple, replica of Amaranath of Jammu and Kashmir.

Devotee of Lord Shiva can participate in various Puja, Rituals like morning and evening Aarti, Rudri, Laghu Rudra and Maha Rudra Yagna, various Shanti Yagya and Path, Rudra Abhishek etc. Sravan month, Maha Shivratri, New year evening, Navratri, every Monday are best time to visit Mini Amarnath Dham.
