Brief About Kumarpal Temple, Palitana, Gujarat

Kumarpal temple is located on top of Shatrunjaya hills and considered as one of main in entire temple complex. Devotee can reach this temple by climbing around 3500 steps on hill. Kumarpal Solanki was great devotee of Jainism and it is believed that the oldest temples on Shatrunjaya hill Palitana are built under his rule in 11th century.
