Guru Shikhar is a famous place on Mount Abu, Rajasthan. It is one of the highest points of the Aravali Range rising to an altitude of 1722 metres. It provides a panoramic view of Mount Abu town with all the scenery. According to history, King Prithviraj Chauhan was believed to travel to this place and consummate his marriage with her. The bride was the Princess of Prahladanpur, now well known by the name of Palanpur.

The Guru Shikhar streak is situated on the peak of the Aravali Range. The main temple is built on the side of a mountain and leads to White-red rocks structured with red domes. It is beautiful and simple as with the footprints of Guru Dattatreya. A breathtaking view of the Aravali Range can be seen from this place.
The darshan timing for this temple is 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Devotees have to wear clean and conservative clothing.
