Bethakji are the holy site for the followers of the Pushtimarg tradition of the Vaishnava Sampradaya. It is believed that Shri Vallabhacharya Maha Prabhuji did parayana for 7 days and left for next place. But here in Nand Gaon, Maha Prabhuji had spent around six month in Bhagvad satsang. Thus, 19th Bethakji of Maha Prabhuji holds high importance in followers of Pushti Marg sect of Vaishnav.
