Bethakji are the holy site for the followers of the Pushtimarg tradition of the Vaishnava Sampradaya. These sacred places are located across the India and associated with Shri Vallabhacharyaji – Mabhaprabhuji who lived in 15th century, the founder of Pushtimarg and his descendants. There are total 142 Bethakji, in which 84 Bethakji of Shree Mahaprabhuji, 28 of his son Viththalanath Gusainji and 30 of his seven grandsons. Shri Govindghat Baithakji located in Gokul is among the first one of the 84 Bethakji of Shree Mahaprabhuji. Chaurasi Bethakji which literally mean that 84 seats or 84 holy site where Shri Vallabhacharya, Mahaprabhuji, the great philosopher of Sanatan Dharma and founder of Pushtimarg sampraday, who had gave discourse on Bhagavata across India in 15th century. This forms key concepts of seva, offering and ritual in Pushtimarg sect of Vaishnavism across the world.
There are two bethajki in Jatipura, one is opposite to Mukharvind temple and another one is in Shrinathji Temple. 15th Bethakji of Mahaprabhuji is inside Shrinathji Temple which is located on Shri Girirajji, between the Mukharvind temple and Dandvati Sheela. On Request of Shri Mahaprabhuji, Kshatriya named Purnamall had built Shrinathji temple at the cost of Rs. four lacs. Here you can see the place to seat and Shaiyaa temple. It is believed that there is one cave in the Shaiyya temple from which you can reach to Mewar. Shri Mahaprbahuji was used to come to perform seva of Shrinathji in this temple. After rituals and seva, he used to sit on a nearby chotra and do Bhagwat Parayan. As per the legend, very interesting event happen here in Shrinathji Temple, one day after performing Shrinathaji's shringar, Shri Mahaprabhuji was sitting in the corridor outside the main sanctum and waiting for the meal to arrive so that he could offer to the Lord. But on that day Bhog was bit late, and all of sudden Mahaprabhuji had heard sweet sound of anklets. He saw that Shri Radha Rani herself came with tray of offerings in her divine hand. Then Shri Mahaprabhuji had explained Damala that we should never be late in offerring meals to the Lord and it will trobules the divine couple. Shri Mahaprabhuji told Damodardasji that today both the swaroops had taken pains so from today onwards do not offer Rajbhog immediately after Shringaar. And this is how Gopivallabh Bhog seva has been started here. Shri Mahaprabhuji had stayed here till Deva-Probodhini and gave discourses on the Bhagavatam twice. Then Mahaprabhuji did the Govardhan Parikrama and later on move ahead for further pilgrimage.

Jatipura being one of the major pilgrimage centre located on the way of Govardhan Parikrama near Govardhan and Mathura in state of Uttar Pradesh where people across the world visits around the year.
