Jesal Toral ni Samadhi, Tomb of Sati Toral and Jesal Jadeja, located at Anjar is historical site of Kutch, Gujarat where thousands of tourist visit around the year. Though Anjar is small town and Taluka place of Kutch district located at just 40 km from district head quarter Bhuj and 25 km from Kandla port holds great historical and religions importance in Kutch region, Gujarat.
An extraordinary legend associated with Jesal Toral Samadhi, as per tales, in fifteen century, Jesar was the grandson of Jam Lakha Jadeja who became the outlaw and started killing people and robbery. One day his sister in law had challenged him that if you are powerful man then take any of the Tori – Horse or Sword or Toral wife of Savasdhir, who lived in Kathiwavad. Jesal had accepted the challenge and reached to Songadh, Kathiavad. Here he was hidden in stable of horse, on seeing this Tori run away from there and reached to Savasdhir. When he and Toral was busy in chanting of Bhajan, thus his man had again fit Tori in Stable, on doing this iron road get in hand of Jesal but he had endure without any noise. Once Bhajan was over and Toral was distributing the Prasad, one food Prasad left so Savasdhir and Toral understand that someone is hidden in home as everyday however the people came in Bhajan, Prasad would not left for even one person. Toral and Savasdhir had found out Jesal and saw the iron road in his hand, but he never shout. Then Savasdhir asked for reason to reach here then Jesal has demanded for Tori, Sword and Toral Devi. Savasdhir had granted his wish.
While moving towards the Anjar Kutch, Jesal and Toral had to cross the sea in small boat. The weather was not good and storm came in sea. Jesal feared a lot from death but Sati Toral sit very quietly in boat even though heavy storm. Then Jesal had requested her to save his life then Toral told the famous quote “Pap Taru Prkash Jadeja and Dharm Sambhal, then Jesal had convinced all the sin and move on the path of devotion after this incident. Then Jesal had written many poem of devotion and also accepted his bad karma in his writing.
It is also said that the Samadhi – Tomb of Jesal and Toral comes close slightly every year.
There are several ancient temples located in Anjar along with Jesal Toral Samadhi like, Madhavrai Temple, Mohanrai Temple, Ajaypal temple and monastery, Bhadeshwar Temple, Swaminarayan's temple and Amba Mata's Shrine .
During the Rann Utsav festival held during November to February, the longest festival celebration of world is the best time to visit Anjar and Kutch. Millions of tourist across the world reaches at Rann Utsav with high energy and enthusiasm. So lot of tourist visit Anjar as well during this period. The famous Jesai-Toral fair is organized here to celebrate the colorful culture of the Kutch.
Mandvi, Dhordo – Rann Utsav Site, Bhuj Mata no Madh, Koteshwar, Dholavira, Narayana Sarovar, Lakhpat etc. are major tourist and pilgrimage attraction nearby Anjar.

Anjar, the important town and Taluka place of Kutch is very well connected with Road, Rail and Air Network as it is just 40 km from Bhuj, 25 km from Kandla port and 15 km from Gandhidham. Bhuj is major railway station and Airport to reach here via rail and air. Also Anjar can be easily reach via road and you can get private and government vehicle.
