Beautiful ISKCON Temple of Anantur, Andhra Pradesh is located in Somuladdodi village outskirt of city, inaugurated in February 2008 and looks like all the ISKCON Temples in world. The temple is also called as Sri Radha Parthasarthi Temple. Lord Sri Krishna and Goddess Radha is the main deity of the temple. The temples vibrant pink colour and golden shade during night gives the best majestic breathe taking view of the place. The whole temple resembles a chariot being pulled by four horses. The Temple is surrounded by garden and the atmosphere of this place is very calm, visitors are very attracted towards this place.
The deity of the Sri Krishna in the temple is very beautiful. The Radha and the Krishna are very well carved in a deity which makes beautiful. This temple also promotes Lord Krishna being the supreme power of the world. Everyday thousands of pilgrims comes here to worship the Krishna and chant mantras and bhajans over here. The architecture of this temple is one of the best architecture of ISKCON Temples in India. The temple has Vedanta Patashala, conference hall, kirtan hall, restaurant to facilitate devotee and tourist. The various practices of bhakti are being introduced widely by ISKCON's founder-Shree A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
The Janmashtami is very nicely celebrated with decorations of flowers and Diya’s and the Dahi Handi rituals are enthusiastically performed with thousands of participants every year.
