History of Badha-Tula ni Jagya
The place where the idol of Lord Krishna was weighed is still exists on the bank of Gomati Lake and known as “Badha Tula ni Jagya”. Gugali - Ambadi bhrahmins of Dwaraka made many attempts to bring the idol of Lord Krishna back to Dwaraka. These bhrahmins were offered gold equivalent to the weight of the idol of Lord Krishna by Gangadevi as guided by Lord Shree Krishna.
Gangabai, wife of Bodana, put her nose-ring with Tulsi leaf on the scale and that lifted the idol of Lord Krishna on the other scale magically. Thus Badha-Tula is the place where the Murti of Lord Krishna is being weighed and the dispute between the people of Dakor and Dwarka soldier was resolved.
