After killing the Tarkasur, Lord Kartikeya was feeling guilty and bad as demon king was true devotee of Lord Shiva. Thus he decided to build three temple dedicated to Lord Shiva with the help of Lord Vishwakarma, installed the Shivlinga and pray for the forgiveness.
