Dev Ni Mori, Buddhist Monestery, near Shamlaji, Gujarat

Dev Ni Mori is one of the main monistic center and archaeological site for Buddhist community in Gujarat. It is located just two kilometers away from the Shamlaji temple and on the bank of River Meshwo. It is believed that this monastery is around 1600 years old. Devotee and tourists can observe various stupas, viharas and small caves here and witness the sacred relics of Lord Buddha which is preserved here in this monastery. These are the one of the oldest sculptures found in Gujarat dated 3rd or 4th century backed.
