Legend and Architecture of Bhammariyo Kuvo, Mahemdavad
Roza and Rozi are 15th century Maqbara located on the banks of Vartak River in a small village Sojali about 4 kms from Mehemdabad, Kheda District. Roza is the maqbara of Mubarak Saiyad and Rozi is the maqbara of brother of Mubarak saiyad’s wife, namely Saifuddin and Nizamuddin. It was constructed by the Saiyad Miran Bubhari in year 1560.
The Roza is decorated with domes, arches, columns, and delicately carved stone grills.As per the myth and unique architecture of maqbara, it is difficult to count the number of columns and looking through the columns and arches gives you a feeling of a never-ending line. The Rozi is a simpler structure in brick with some work on the inside of the domes. Roza Rozi is a holy place for Muslims, so there is a fair arranged here on Uras. Every year the Uras is celebrated after the 10th day of Eid-ul-Fitra with tons of joy.
