History, Timing, Facilities, Significance of Siddhivinayak Temple or Siddhivinayak Mandir Mehmadabad
Siddhivinayak Temple or Shree Siddhivinayak Devasthan or Siddhivinayak Mandir Mahemdavad is located on the Mahemdabad – Ahmedabad highway around 2 km from Mahemdavad, on the bank of River Vatrak and dedicated to Lord Shree Ganesha. The construction of temple was started in 2011 in huge campus of around 22 Bigha land and completed in one year in guidance of Narendrabhai Purohit and visionary of temple late Daibaji. The shape of the temple is same like the Lord Ganesha and the idol of Ganesha is installed at 83 feet height.
The holy flame of the Mehamdabad Ganpati Mandir was religiously brought from the Siddhivinayak Temple Mumbai and built in 600000 sq feet area. Idol of Ganesha at Siddhivinayaka temple mahemdavad is same like the Siddhivinayaka temple Mumbai. Replica of idol of Lord Shree Ganesha of various temples from different country is also installed here in five floor temple. Siddhivinayak temple can be built on bank of Narmada or Vatrak River with white akra.
Lots of facilities like Hurble Park, Bhojanalaya, lift, Amusment Park, garden, cafeteria, and accommodation are also available for devotee and tourist. Thus, Siddhivinayak Mandir Mehmdabad becomes very popular one day picnic place near Ahmedabad where devotee and tourist can spent quality time with family and friends. Mehmadabad Ganesh Temple Darshan timings on normal days is from 6 AM to 10 PM and on special days like Sankat Chaturthi, temple darshan remains open for 5 AM to 11 PM as thousands of devotee visit here for worship of Lord Shree Ganesha.
