Bala Hanuman temple of Jamnagar is located on the southeast corner of Lakhota lake or Ranmal Lake and famous across the world for its continuous chanting of the Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram, day and night since August 1st, 1964. This is recorded in Guinness Book of World Record. The temple premises is kept clean and there is a divine atmosphere prevailing. Shri Bala Hanuman Sankirtan Mandir is the oldest temple established by Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj in 1963-64.
Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj was born in 1812 in Chhatauni, a small village in Bihar in a farmer family with religious inclines. During early life the name of Maharah was Gayaprasadsinh, his father Dinkarsinh, mother Rajvati Devi and brother Gangasinh and Ramnetsinhji. Prembhikshuji Maharaj was brought up in spiritual environment and took Sannyas with permission of mother and became the great devotee of Lord Shree Ram. Before taking sanyas, he had completed his graduation, also participate in freedom fight during 1930-31 under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhiji. He was imprisoned for that also, then he did couple of Job in different department as well. But Maharaj was inclined towards the spiritual life only. He followed the guidance of his spiritual guru Shri Kashimiribaba and started his journey of Rama Nam from Bihar and went to Dwarka. Guruji was believed in chanting of lord name only inplace of discourse or preaching.
Rama Naam is chanted continuously at various centers like Dwarka, Rajkot, Porbandar, Mahuva, Junagadh and Muzaffarpur in Bhihar along with Jamnagar in guidance of Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj.

Bala Hanumaji temple is located near Lakhota lake on Shri Prembhikshuji Marg, in centre of Jamnagar.
