Hutheesingh Jain Derasar, Ahmedabad
Construction of Hutheesingh Jain Derasar was initiated in 1848 by Sheth Hutheesingh, wealthy businessman of Ahmedabad and completed by his wife. This Jain Derasar is dedicated to Lord Dharmanatha, 15th Jain Tirthankar. 27 inch idol of this thirthankar is placed in the inner sanctum and spicious Pooja mandap and Rang Mandap also constructed.
Temple is made up of sandstone and headed by an ornate victory tower. There are 52 smaller shrines elusioning the main temple and each of these has three deities placed in them. There are idols of Jain Tirthankars in the basement of temple.
