Ranakdevi Mahel - Jumma Masjid, Uparkot Fort, Junagadh
Ranakadevi was daughter king of Kutch but abandoned in forest as per austrologer prdection. Jam Rawal found her and rose as his daughter. Then she married with Khengara, the king of Chudasama dynasty and became the queen of Khengara. He used to stay at uparkot in Junagadh and here Ranakidevi at her palace known as Ranakidevi Mahel.
Ranakidevi Mahel was converted into mosque – Jumma Masjid after the Muslim Ruler muhmad Begada last Hindu Ruler of Junagadh.
