Mansarovar, the holy water tank, located behind the Main Ambaji temple, Ambaji, Gujarat was built in 16th century by Shree Tapi Shankar great devotee of Goddess Ambe. This holy pond has steps on all four side and two temple, one is dedicated of Mahadev and another one is dedicated to Ajay devi. This holy kund – Mansarovar is used by devotees for taking holy bath to cleanse all their sins and attain salvation. This is also widely famous place of Chaul Sanskar as it believed that Chaul Sanksar of Lord Krishna held here at Amabji.
