Hindu

About : Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world. Hinduism is world's third largest religion after Christianity and Islam. Hinduism is also known as Sanatan Dharma. Hinduism is not just the religion but it is the way to live. It is widely followed in India and South Asian country. The word Hinduism is actually a misnomer. It is derived from the word “Sindhu” as people of Iran sound changes S to H and the word Sindhu becomes Hindu. People who lived beyond the river sindhu are called hindu by some nationals long ago and now it is common word. Under Hindu and Islamic ruler it shows the increasing importance of Bhakti which remains dominant today. Hinduism is closely related to other Indian religion like Buddhism, Shikhism and Jainism. There is no founder of Hinduism as other religion so many people believe that Hinduism is always exits on the earth. The oldest source for the history of Hinduism is Rigveda, the religious life in this text shows but the word Hinduism is not in used but it referred Brahminism and Vedism. All main sacred text are written in Sanskrit also callied Devlipi. Actually the Hinduism is labeled as religion but it is just more than it, It is big and complex socio religious body which reflects in all Indian families. This tradition is came to us from prehistory time. The foundations stone of Hinduism can be found in the teachings of anonymous ancient rishis which were originally transmitted orally and down the time recorded in texts. So in all the manners Hinduism attracts all the human on this earth with its history and spiritual understanding and knowledge.

Believe: Hindus believe that all forms of life contain a soul, and all souls have the chance to experience life in different forms. The soul is eternal and lives many lifetimes, in one body after another.

Way of Life: For Hindu there are four goal of life, Darma, Artha, Karma and Moksha.

God: Hindu believe in one God, but now a day Hindu believe in various god like Shiv, Vishnu, Brahma ets as per their belief.

Place of Worship: Most hindu worship at home every day and Temple are used for common worship place.

Sacred Text: Ved, Upnishad, Shruti, Smruti, Ramayana, Mahabharat,Puran, Bhagwad Gita

Sacred Place: Kedarnath, Rameshwar, Dwarka, Kashi, Mathura, Vrundavan, Amarnath, etc

Various Panth: Shaiva, Vaishnava, Shakta, Smarta etc.

Major Festival: Diwali, Holi, Janmashtami, Maha Shivratri, Navrati

Vaishnav

God: Vishnu
Avatar: Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna or Balarama Buddha or Krishna and Kalki.
