History and Importance of Pampa Sarovar, Dang, Gujarat
Pampa Sarovar is situated on the bank of River Poorna also known as Pushtharini during ancient time, around 10 km from Shabari Dham where Lord Shree Rama met Shabari Mata. Pampa Lake holds mythological and historical importance as it is mentioned Aranya Kand of Ramayana. Matang Rhishi, Guru of Mata Shabari had built his Ashram near the Pampa Sarovar. On Diwali Night there is big Pooja and many nearby village people visit this place. Pampa sarovar holds mythological and historical importance.
